Yikes, I hardly ever update this journal! Life's been rather busy, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Everything's wonderful with Rob and I, we've been together for nearly 8 months, we've practically moved in together and love every moment. I'm also having lots of fun being the stepmum to his lovely 5 year old daughter, who always wants to colour my drawings, haha.
We had the pleasure of spending our first birthdays, Christmas and New Year together (both of us have December birthdays so very busy times indeed!). We spent New Year in the terrible little Scottish town I lived in for 7 years so I could introduce him to my Mum and my closest friends since those introductions were long overdue! We're both as happy as can be and long may it continue. Ain't love grand?
I still technically live in the flat that I've called home for the past 3 and a half years (God, did I move out that long ago? How time flies...) but only due to my studies at the AUB (formally AUCB until about a week ago, we're a full-blown university now, none of this college crap, haha) as it's located a lot nearer to the campus than Rob's place. At this stage, it's probably just as well - where on earth would I keep all my records and music memorabilia otherwise? ;D I hardly ever spend the night there anymore though, so my bed there has turned into more of a desk, haha.
On the subject of uni, BA Illustration is gruelling work, but I have some wonderful and talented friends there which always makes it more of a giggle. Just finished an incredibly tough group zine project (we were thrown into a group with people we hardly know to cobble a magazine together, aaaghh!) and we're all exhausted and in need of a rest. I spent the last day of the project making nearly 100 badges to promote it, haha.
I have a few days to slowly return to a human state before the project assessment, so I'll be catching up with a few drawings I've had to put off due to the uni stuff. Looking forward to it, it'll be nice to draw without worrying about being marked on it!
Hope all's well in your world, lots of love and take care. (Whoever's reading this...)
